    SPEAKERS

Ollie Strachan – Test Automation Lead, BJSS

Ollie joined BJSS through the Academy in 2019 after a few years studying Physics, including a brief foray into Hawaiian astronomy.

He’s since gotten involved in the world of Test and loves applying the curiosity inherent to testers in as many places as he can, particularly when it comes to agile transformation.

Elliot Thurland – NFT Capability Lead, BJSS

Elliot is the Non-Functional Test Capability Lead for BJSS Leeds. He joined BJSS in 2014 as a Test Engineer and has since worked with a variety of our clients and projects. Breaking down barriers between communities of practice is an incredibly important part of what he aims to do.

He heard about the atomic design pattern in 2018 and wants to spread knowledge about this concept.

Joshua Bates – Technical Lead, BJSS

Josh joined BJSS in 2016 as a Software Engineer. He’s worked in quite a few roles through his career, starting with infrastructure and moving into the frontend and full stack space, though he currently focuses on leading UI-based projects.

He’s been using the atomic design pattern for four of the past five years, and has overseen it working in not just the UI space, but automation and analysis too.
