BJSS’s award-winning academy programme expands with a new product design programme from SPARCK

    BJSS and its leading in-house digital design consultancy, SPARCK, today announce the addition of a new stream to the BJSS Academy. For the first time, SPARCK will be running its own stream, focusing on product design.

    “We’re excited to launch SPARCK’s very first training programme, which will form a part of BJSS’s ever-growing and award-winning Academy ecosystem. Over the course of an intensive four-week training programme, our new Junior Designers will grow their design skills and learn from some of the industry’s leading product designers”, says Rebecca Laycock, SPARCK’s Academy Coordinator.

    “User-centred design is a huge part of our business and is being increasingly used across our public and private sector clients. It’s therefore essential that we continue to home grow talented designers who will be responsible for creating cutting edge products and services for real people.”

    This year’s SPARCK Academy includes modules on:

    • design thinking methodologies
    • product design best practice
    • new and upcoming design systems
    • core consultancy skills.

    The SPARCK Academy will be run in a hybrid working model, supporting a combination of virtual and in-person working. It runs across all of BJSS’ UK locations.
