Leading technology and business consultancy, BJSS, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Situ, a global corporate extended stay accommodation agency. With a network of properties across 140 countries, Situ connects companies with properties all over the world to accommodate their employees for business travel, extended stays or even relocation

  • BJSS and Situ have joined forces to address the problem of time-consuming manual booking processes widely recognised in the serviced accommodation industry. Their aim is to save time for the Situ team and reduce the enquiry-to-quote timeframe for customers
  • Project ‘Xenia’ – based on the ancient Greek concept of hospitality – is an AI-enhanced digital transformation project designed to automate routine booking processes to free up Situ’s teams to focus on utilising their expertise to enhance and offer even greater client and guest experiences.
  • Xenia’s data analytics platform will also be able to analyse the carbon footprint of each stay, allowing corporates to report their scope three emissions more accurately and ultimately help make more sustainable decisions when accommodating employees. The platform enables Situ to easily provide clients and partners with rich market and operational insights also.

Stephen Reed, Senior Head of Delivery, South, at BJSS, states: “Xenia will apply human-centric software to solve human problems. But this is not about replacing human interaction with technology – quite the opposite. Xenia will complete time-consuming, cumbersome administration tasks to improve the employee and client experience.”

Paul Lynch, Product and Development Director at Situ, says: "We are at a very exciting point in our growth journey. Having seen a doubling in employee numbers to fill demand, we predict this new technology will see us grow further as we move into new markets.

After working with BJSS in my prior role at ITV, I wanted to utilise their expertise in modernising systems with human-centric design, as well as benefit from their local presence here in our HQ city, Exeter. Once complete, Xenia will allow our skilled accommodation experts to do what they do best: provide our clients with a bespoke personal approach to help them move their people around the world more efficiently and sustainably.”
