As part of the 2023 UK-Portugal Business Awards, BJSS Portugal has been recognised with the Overseas Direct Investment & Business Development Award. This award distinguishes BJSS as one of the UK companies based in Portugal that has grown the most in this fiscal year.
Organised by the Department of Business and Trade and UK Embassy in Portugal, the awards recognise the entrepreneurial efforts of Portuguese companies that have chosen the United Kingdom as an investment destination, as well as British companies that have achieved success in Portugal, some of which are also direct investors in the Portuguese market.
The award was presented by the UK Ambassador in Portugal, Chris Santy, as well as the Regional Director for DBT in Europe South, João Sebastião.
Pedro Ferreira, Head of Delivery at BJSS Portugal, said: “BJSS has been delivering for more than 25 clients in Portugal, spanning multiple markets such as healthcare, retail, commodities, trading, entertainment and financial services. Having hired the first person in August of 2020, BJSS Portugal is now 120 people strong and continues to deliver to the highest standard across these sectors.
