What will you do?
As a Cloud and Platform Engineer, your role is to understand what technology challenges your clients are facing, and then find solutions to these challenges.
You’ll work in a fast moving, agile environment, within multi-disciplinary teams, delivering advanced technology solution to a range of clients across the globe.
You’ll get to work with some of the brightest and best in the industry on some of the most exciting digital programmes around. Not only will this experience allow you to develop your skills, but you’ll also learn new techniques and refine your interests.
Initially you will join the 4-week BJSS Cloud and Platform Engineering foundations course to learn the tools and skills that will shape your future in IT and business consultancy. Once you are assigned to a project the support and training opportunities don’t stop.
You will be assigned a technical mentor to support you with your development, you will have access to a wide range of learning resources, and we will arrange regular meetups for you and your fellow Academy Alumni. The Academy team are always on hand for anything else you need.
You will find a typical day on the Academy to be engaging, fun and informative. It will be filled with interactive sessions, aided by our expert tutors who will make sure that you get the most out of your learning experience.

If you are unsure what route is the most suitable for you don’t worry you don’t have to make that decision before you join. The Academy team will work with you to understand your strengths and interests so you can make a more informed decision around what career path you want to take.
Unlike other programmes, our Academy member s are full-time, permanent BJSS employees, so you won’t have to reapply for a role after completing the programme.
Again - we welcome all applicants regardless of their Academic background provided they have a passion for technology and some coding experience. Our application process is easy and has been designed to let your skills and potential shine through.
