SPARCK is the Digital arm of BJSS and is growing and we want people to join our team with a range of experience and backgrounds. You could currently be in an in-house digital team, agency or a large consultancy, looking to escape to a more entrepreneurial and fast paced environment. We’re not prescriptive; it’s more about you and what you can bring to the team.
You’ll undertake activities from strategy with the CEO through to service design, research, business development and business analysis. You’ll have a thorough knowledge of user research techniques, how to organise information effectively and validate solutions with users.
To work for SPARCK, no matter what role you do, you’ll be involved in a range of project based activities: Business Strategy, Market & User Research, Service Design, Workshop Facilitation, Board Advisory, Business Planning, Experience Design, Business Analysis, Usability Testing, User Journey Mapping.
When you join us, you’ll be taken through a full, hands-on bootcamp to bring you up to speed on SPARCK’s methodology and the way we deliver projects. We’re also looking for people to add to our shared, team knowledge, so your ideas will be valued from day one.
You’ll work with equally bright, enthusiastic people across all levels of experience and you’ll be challenged every day. As long as you pick things up quickly and have an enthusiasm to learn new stuff, you will love it.
You will need to highlight that you’re passionate about all things digital and whether it is in your spare time or part of your role, that you enjoy UI coding, using social media, blogging, building websites, photography or design. Above all, you will be a confident communicator and can manage both up and down across a diverse range of projects and environments.
Experience of business development would be seen as advantageous for this role. This could be through writing or publishing thought leadership articles/blogs on our website, attending client meetings, conducting free of charge work to help establish new business, running client workshops and or speaking at or taking part in conferences, meet-ups or networking events.
