Loans and Mortgages System for Offshore Private Bank
Our client was looking for a partner to add Loans and Mortgages to their existing banking system’s current account and fixed deposit functionality.  We provided a bespoke solution which integrated seamlessly with both the front end thick client and the back end processing system. The project had very short timescales and required BJSS to work closely with the client on offshore sites and with the vendor of the existing banking system.

Design & Implementation of Online Application Framework for High Street Bank
The bank had previously engaged BJSS as a development and consulting partner across a number of projects. The success of this work has led to BJSS being engaged to look at the next generation of Rich Internet applications, to further improve the user experience through the introduction of Web 2.0 features and the latest .NET 3.5 and AJAX technologies.   The use of the online application framework designed by BJSS has enabled the bank to implement new online products much quicker than before and offer a consistent experience to the user across its range of products.

IT Services Review for Leading Law Firm
A leading member of the 'magic circle' of law firms contacted BJSS and requested assistance in performing an operational integrity assurance review of their core IT services.
The review touched all areas of their operations and IT services, and was delivered by a focussed team of technical architects and project managers.  The assurance review focused on solution and infrastructure architecture, governance, security, software development lifecycle and support.  We identified and implemented a number of tactical 'quick wins' and outlined longer term remediation activities to support the client's operational strategy and change programmes.

Development of Web Tool for Mortgage Quotations for a Top Five Building Society
The society wanted to grow revenues by enabling customers to get an accurate mortgage quotation online within seconds.  It also wanted to introduce new electronically delivered products starting with a web service application for offset mortgages.  We were chosen to architect a customer-facing front-end, using web services to integrate easily with the customers Oracle and UNIX legacy back-end applications.  BJSS acted as both advisers and as part of the development team.

ISA and Stake Holder Pension E-commerce Applications for Major UK Financial Services Provider
Our client was looking to build a number of customer facing web based applications, that would integrate with their existing legacy Microsoft DNA platform, whist providing a new .NET based framework intended to underpin all new retail applications going forward. BJSS was involved in defining and building the core architecture using skills and agile techniques unfamiliar to the client, whilst understanding the organisations vast technical landscapes, discrete systems and processes. The success of the initial offerings allowed other applications to be developed, and existing services such as online banking to be migrated, over time to the new unified framework.

Peer-2-Peer Loans Matching Website
Our client was looking to set up the first online social lending marketplace for consumer borrowing that required no bank, no huge overheads and no unethical investments.  They wanted a site that was easy to use, secure and reliable.  Given the complexity involved in the process of information gathering, credit checks and in particular the lender/borrower matching requirements, the site needed to incorporate a configurable workflow system and a sophisticated matching engine.
We were able to draw upon our expertise in building trading systems for big blue chip organisations to manage the project and engineer the build.

A leading provider of outsourced retail financial services engaged BJSS to provide a small development team to work alongside their in-house team to deliver a member benefits website.
