Test Managers
The role
A BJSS Test Manager has primary responsibility for hands-on leadership, overseeing all phases of Performance, Stress, Load, Resilience and security testing and ensuring the appropriate range of test approaches and methodologies are used in a project.
The role also includes responsibility for:
- Driving and supporting the creation of the technical testing strategies and approaches
- Leading and mentoring small, high performance test teams
- Test planning, estimating and risk management
- Monitoring the test project and delivering test reporting and performance evaluation
- Tracking and reporting quantitative and qualitative testing results/metrics
- Liaison with BJSS and client development and deployment groups
Personal Attributes
A BJSS Test Manager must be able to work closely with various business and project stakeholders, so excellent technical, leadership and interpersonal skills are essential. A keen interest in software testing and test management, allied with a willingness to take a hands-on approach when needed are also required.
