Technical Testers
The role
BJSS test engagements typically focus on functional and non-functional testing (performance, stress, load, operational, etc) and integration testing. Our Technical Testers are responsible for the development of test plans & scripts, executing tests and the design and implementation of test automation approaches.
Technical Testers are also expected to:
- Assist in creation of the technical testing strategy and approach
- Design non-functional Test Plans for areas such as Performance, Stress, Load, Resilience, Availability and Operational testing
- Liaise with both BJSS and client development and deployment groups
- Monitor the test project and deliver test reporting and performance evaluation
- Undertake business analysis
Personal Attributes
A BJSS Technical Tester must be able to work closely with various business and project stakeholders, so excellent technical and interpersonal skills are essential. A background in software development, a keen interest in software testing, allied with a hands-on approach are also required.
