Technical Project Managers
  
The role
A BJSS Technical Project Manager has primary responsibility for the day-to-day running of assigned projects (both software delivery and infrastructure projects) either in a consultancy role at client sites or as part of a BJSS project team.
 
The role also includes responsibility for:
  • Consultancy - Project Management consultancy services (e.g. advice on UAT/OAT, test practice, iterative project design, business analysis etc.) in both advisory and project delivery capacities at client sites
  • Line Management - TPM's may have responsibility for Line Management within the development team
  • Sales Process - While not responsible for lead generation TPM's have an involvement in proposal creation and conversion of leads into projects
  • Process Improvement - Supporting the BJSS management team in continual process improvement initiatives
Personal Attributes
To excel in this role requires excellent communication skills both outward facing (to the business) and inward facing (to the delivery team). Candidates must be driven, pragmatic and completely focused on project delivery for business benefit.
