Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
More and more organisations are looking to provide high-availability, secure, reliable and scalable enterprise wide applications. The J2EE platform has been developed to help overcome the problems inherent in developing distributed multi-tier systems. Appropriate use of J2EE can help reduce the cost of developing these systems, and provide platforms for future enhancement as requirements grow and change.
Hand-in-hand with J2EE, Enterprise Java Beans have developed to allow multi-tier applications to communicate across the Internet and intranets. The combination of these technologies can provide real business benefit, including improved 'time-to-market'.
BJSS has worked with J2EE/EJB in a commercial environment since 1999. Examples of J2EE/EJB work include:
- Producing a J2EE based Corporate Actions Monitor for a major investment bank.
- Developing a complex web-based interface to a settlements system based on J2EE/EJB.
- Working as the Technical Architect for an J2EE/EJB based trading engine.
- Working on a J2EE/EJB based commodity trading engine.
BJSS' experience with major clients in delivering high-quality J2EE/EJB systems is an assurance that it will provide well designed, reliable applications for all its clients.
